BUILDING WITH US

Using Innovative Systems

Seamless Gutters

Rain Gutters Protect and Beautify Your Home

Rain gutters collect water from a slanted roof. They funnel and direct moisture away from your home. Your gutter system serves two primary purposes – extending the life and enhancing the value of your home.

Proper dispersal of rainwater defends your roof, siding, door frames, and window sills from rot and damage. It protects your lawn from compression, flooding, and erosion. Free flowing water can penetrate your house and damage your foundation.

In addition to their practical function, a properly installed, correctly colored rain gutter is an accessory that enhances the look and value of your home.

Different Styles and Materials

Stores sell sectional gutters, in pieces, that you must cut and install yourself. They carry a high risk of leaks and clogs. Installing them involves long, hazardous stints on a ladder.

We offer professional installation of seamless gutters custom-sized to your roof. They rarely leak and are less prone to clogs.

Styles

Roof gutters come in two primary styles, available in different sizes. Most homes use 5- or 6-inch gutters. Larger models are available for commercial and industrial installation.

K-Style Gutters have flat bottoms and sides. They collect more water than half-round.

Half-Round Gutters are a semi-circle and have a distinct look.

Materials

Gutters are available in many materials. We offers three of the sturdiest metals for your home.

Aluminum is durable and long lasting. It is the most common choice due to price and low weight.

Galvanized is a reliable option. When properly cared for it has a long life. It is more resistant to dings, rips, and damage from ladders, debris, and falling objects.

Copper has the most extended life of any metal. It is damage resistant. Unlike other options, it comes in only its natural color.

Drainage

Remember that water always flows downhill and takes the path of least resistance. If the water does not have a way to flow out, it will set into the property, causing your yard to flood. The primary goal of landscape drainage is to build a water flow system that lets the water out of your property by taking advantage of gravity.

French Drain

A modern version of a French Drain System is a slightly sloped trench that uses a PVC or plastic pipe with perforations over river rocks or washed gravel. It is used to divert water out of your house in a controlled fashion. A properly built and designed landscape French Drain system will prevent water from penetrating a building or home’s foundation. The dimensions of a French Drain will vary depending on the terrain and volume of water. However, a typical residential landscape drainage system is 8-10” deep and 8” wide with a 3" or 4” PVC perforated pipe.

French Drains are proven to work extensively. They can solve most or all of Southern Arizona’s residential drainage problems. When constructed properly, they are easy to maintain, and last for many years without repairs.

Gutter Cleaning & Screens

Professional Gutter Cleaning Services

Arizona Gutter Pros uses industry-specific tools, equipment, and safety methods for effective and affordable gutter cleaning services.

Regular gutter cleaning prevents buildup and protects the value of your home. We will remove debris from your gutters and downspouts and clear the roof near your gutter system. Your gutter cleaner will verify that water flows correctly to avoid soil and terrain damage, or that it is properly collecting in rain barrels if in use.

During your gutter cleaning, we will also inspect and identify areas in need of repair to include the gutter system, siding, or exterior trim. We can discuss options that will save you money and add value.

Choose Gutter Guards that

Reduce Cleaning and Extend Gutter Life

Gutter guards are a great addition to your seamless gutters. They protect the gutter system from damage, debris, and rust, making your gutters last longer.

A Gutter Guard's purpose is to reduce leaves and debris from entering your gutters, doubling (sometimes even quadrupling) the time between cleanings.

We recommend and install a range of gutter guards. Your choice of make and model will depend on factors around your property.

You may be considering leaf guards for a new gutter installation or for an addition to your existing system. Either way, here are some of the criteria we look at when recommending the right product for your situation.

Annual rainfall

Average rain during a heavy storm

Number of trees near your home

Types of trees

Other debris you will encounter (sap, seeds, etc.)

Roof slope

Shingle type

Gutter style

Our gutter guards are of such high quality and durability that they can withstand the weight of some falling branch.

Gutter Repairs

Seamless Gutter Repair,

Maintenance, and Replacement

Gutter repair is not something we think about until rainwater causes damage to our home, gets inside, or destroys landscaping.

Consumer Reports lists runaway rainwater that pours over the gutters and puddles along the foundation as the #1 home repair that can prevent major problems later.

Maintaining your gutters greatly reduces the chances the system will fail when you need it most. Here is a checklist of gutter repair and maintenance items to address.

✓ Holes

Branches, debris, ladders, and tools can punch holes in your gutters. Aluminum seamless gutters and many sectional systems are prone to this kind of damage.

Clean the area and repair the holes which are causing water to escape. Small holes can be plugged; larger breaches require patching or replacement.

✓ Rust

Often found around holes, you may also see rust if the protective coating wears away. Light amounts can be scrubbed away and holes patched or If rust has infested the metal, install a new seamless gutter system.

✓ Leaks

Leaks are most common in the joints of sectional gutters. Seamless gutters may leak from corners or end caps. Before the seals fail, the seams can be cleaned and caulked, securing them in place and eliminating gaps.

✓ Overflow

There are a number of reasons for water overflow, such as:

-Blockage: If debris is stopping water, it will spill over the sides. Gutter cleaning will clear it up. Consider adding gutter guards to prevent future incidents.

-Pitch: If the slope on your gutter is too steep, water will rush past the downspout and escape over the end.

-Downspout Size: The downspout may be too small for rainfall in your area.

-Loose Hangers: If the system droops, the water is not channeling properly. A rattling sound may also occur when the gutters sit too loose in their hangers. We use a powerful open top hanger system we use that eliminates gutter rattle on new gutter installs.

✓ Pooling

Water may pool below a downspout. Usually, this can be fixed by positioning the elbow. In other cases, upgrading the collection or dispersal system may be necessary.

Be sure to clear blockages in the downspout regularly.

✓ Striping

Striping occurs when dirt, debris, and pollen build up near the lip of the gutter. As moisture is attracted to these elements, it drips down the gutter, causing black lines and markings.
